由比で水揚げされた桜海老を、すぐに釜揚げにして冷凍しました。ひげも取ってあるので食べやすく、桜海老の甘みがフワッと口一杯にひろがります。自然解凍してお召し上がりください。桜えびは殻ごと食べるため、牛乳の7倍ものカルシウムを含んでおり、 食物繊維も豊富で、美容にもいい健康食品です。

Suruga Bay is the only place in Japan where you can catch Sakura Shrimp. During the spring harvest season (end of March – beginning of June) and the fall harvest season (end of October – end of December)  Sakura shrimp are naturally crunchy because they are crustaceans.  They have a light crispy texture, and more importantly they retain their crispiness even when put into liquid. This makes them the ultimate sprinkle-on-top food.  

櫻花蝦是一種身形細小的海蝦,長大後約 2公分長,活時,呈透明粉紅色,在海中大群出現,發亮的身體像櫻花瓣小巧玲瓏,故有櫻花蝦之稱,被視為珍貴漁穫,不論口感及營養價值都是上乘之選。 它含高鈣、磷、粗蛋白質、甲殼素、蝦紅素等營養成分,是小孩及長者最佳天然鈣的攝取來源,亦是女性美容及產婦的最佳營養補給品。
