種無しフルーツパパイヤ『石垣珊瑚』は2008年に登録された新品種で、石垣島でのみ作られています。 糖度が平均13.8度と非常に甘く、強い芳香と、トロッとした食感が特徴でパパイヤ独特の臭みもありません。パパイヤ好きにはもちろん、あまり食べたことのない方にもお勧めです。

Ishigaki seedless papaya  "Coral of Ishigaki" is a high class fruit cultivated using a patented method with a mixture of red soil and coral fragments.  It is a fruit with unprecedented deliciousness and sweetness.  It has a milder fragrance then a conventional varieties.  When it is fully ripened, it has a sweet scent, soft mellow flesh and a rich sugar content of 13 degrees or above.   It's best to enjoy when it is completely orange.   Please cool it in the refrigerator 2 hours before serving for best result.
