Japanese sansho or prickly ash is loved by Japanese food lovers around the world. This product is sansho powder, perfect for all types of Japanese cuisine.  Sansho is the Japanese cuisine connoisseurs’ secret seasoning.  Sansho powder is usually sprinkled on the Unagi.  As sansho pepper also goes really well with chicken and eggs, it is also served with Yakitori and Oyaku-don.  As the flavor of the sansho powder tends to be pretty strong, it is better to try a small amount first.
