Moreover, the refreshing citrus flavor and fragrance of Yuzu is one of the internationally recognized aromas of Japan, (along with Sakura and Matcha).
Kito Yuzu are planted 300-500 meters above sea level in the basin between mountains with lots of rainfall and sunshine. The Kito Area holds the record for the highest annual rainfall in Shikoku and the highest short-term rainfall nationally. Also, because of the polarized temperature in the region, it is the possible for Kito Yuzu to achieve a strong fragrance, thicker skin with it's one of a kind citrus aroma. Kito Yuzu its said to be the best Yuzu in Japan.
