海ぶどう

「海ぶどう」の魅力は不思議なプチプチとはじける食感。口の中を磯の香りがやさしく広がっていく感じはまさに美味、珍味! その鮮やかなグリーン色をした色あいから別名「グリーンキャビア」とも呼ばれている海藻の高級食材です。
「海ぶどう」はビタミンやカルシウム、鉄などのミネラルを豊富に含でいる低カロリーでヘルシーな自然食品。 観光客のお土産として人気沸騰中の「海ぶどう」。一度食べるとやみつきになってしまう人も多いようです。

Sea grapes, also known as Umibudo, is a tropical aquatic vegetable that is very popular in Japan where it is considered a delicacy. It is highly regarded for its succulent appearance, refreshing taste and pleasing “pop” when you eat it. The bubbles are actually the leaf part of the underwater plant. They grow on a long stem that is also edible.  Sea grapes in Okinawa have been farmed for hundreds of years and are known as a staple of the food culture of the prefecture. 

Please only store sea grapes at room temperature of 15℃ to 25℃. 

  1. Take out the desire amount of sea grapes and soak it into water for 3-4 minutes. (During the process the sea grapes will return to its full form)
  2. Remove sea grapes and rinse them lightly then serve. Repeat step 1 if you find it’s too salty.

海葡萄為沖繩獨有的海藻,低熱量,不含膽固醇,只在零污染的乾淨水域生長, 粒粒晶瑩碧綠, 宛如青葡萄, 可以生食,口感似蟹子。海葡萄是一種營養豐富的食用綠藻,含人體所需的多種營養物質,具有抗氧化、抗癌、抗腫瘤、凈化血液等作用 。 在日本,通常把海葡萄淋上醋醬油或做成壽司食用,吃它的原汁原味,海葡萄也是鮪魚生魚片及其他海鮮的最佳搭配。
