They’re low in moisture and less slick than regular nameko mushrooms which, even with their larger size, makes them easier to eat. They’re a delightful product that can be used for tempura, stir-fry, and many other dishes while retaining their distinctive nameko flavor and firm consistency.

滑子菇口感滑而爽脆，但是香氣不甚濃郁。作涼拌菜，放湯內，或與肉同炒均宜，與雞蛋尤其合配。滑子菇含有粗蛋白、脂肪、碳水化合物、粗纖維、灰分、鈣、磷、鐵、維生素B、維生素C、煙酸和人體所必須的其它各種氨基酸。附著在滑菇菌傘表面的粘性物質是一種核酸，對保持人體的精力和腦力大有益處，並且還有抑制腫瘤的作用。
