Harvested by local fishermen in Awaji Island, Japan, this preserved wakame is carefully cultivated in natural ocean environments and lightly salted to maintain its freshness and quality.

Unlike dried seaweed, this wakame retains a more vibrant texture and cleaner flavor, with no fishy odor. Only sea salt is used for preservation—no additives or preservatives—allowing the natural taste of the sea to come through.

Once rinsed, the wakame quickly rehydrates and expands, revealing a smooth, tender texture and mild, slightly sweet ocean flavor that is both refreshing and versatile.

Preparation

  1. Take a small portion of wakame
  2. Rinse gently in water 2–3 times to remove excess salt
  3. Drain well
  4. Wakame will naturally expand after rinsing

Serving Ideas

  • Add directly to miso soup, ramen, or hot pot (cook for ~10–15 seconds)
  • Serve as a simple side dish with soy sauce or ponzu
  • Use in sunomono (vinegared cucumber salad)
  • Pair with seafood or tofu dishes

烹調時間可依個人喜好調整;若用於火鍋,建議在沸水中涮煮約10–15秒,風味最佳。

冰箱儲全最小有效期九個月,冰庫兩年。避免陽光直接照射
