Purple Black Rice & Hatomugi Amazake 140ml

A distinctive variation of Yamato's raw brown rice amazake, made with Japanese rice koji, brown rice, purple-black rice, and Job's tears (hatomugi), with added plant-derived lactic acid bacteria.

Half of the brown rice used in this variety is purple-black rice (紫黒米), giving the amazake its naturally deep colour and providing naturally occurring anthocyanin polyphenols. Hatomugi adds another layer of wholesome grain character, while the rice koji creates the signature naturally sweet and pleasantly tart flavour of the Raw Brown Rice Amazake series.

Smooth and easy to drink, each 140ml bottle contains 100 billion heat-treated plant-derived lactic acid bacteria.
