Kakuida 3-Year Aged Black Vinegar is a premium Japanese vinegar made using a traditional fermentation method that dates back over 200 years. It’s produced in Kagoshima Prefecture, known for its ideal climate and natural environment that support the long aging process. This extended aging deepens the flavor, resulting in a mellow, umami-rich vinegar with complex notes, less sharpness, and a natural sweetness.

Culinary Uses:

  • Drink diluted with water or soda (often with honey).

  • Add to dressings, marinades, or dipping sauces.

  • Use in simmered dishes (nimono), stir-fries, or even desserts for a subtle sour note.
