Widely regarded as Japan’s premier muskmelon, Crown Melon is grown exclusively in Shizuoka Prefecture using meticulous cultivation methods where farmers nurture one melon per vine to achieve exceptional sweetness, fragrance, and texture. Known for its elegant aroma, smooth flesh, and melt-in-your-mouth juiciness, Crown Melon represents the pinnacle of Japanese luxury fruit.

Understanding Crown Melon Grades
Crown Melons are carefully graded based on appearance, sugar content, and overall quality:

Snow Grade (Yuki / 雪) – A more everyday premium grade with excellent flavour and quality, perfect for enjoying the luxury of Japanese melon at home.

White Grade (Shiro / 白) – Premium quality with excellent sweetness and beautiful appearance, offering outstanding value while maintaining the signature Crown Melon experience.

Mountain Grade (Yama / 山) – The highest and most premium grade with exceptional sweetness, appearance, and netting. Often reserved for gifting and special occasions.

How to Ripen Your Crown Melon
Allow the melon to ripen at room temperature away from direct sunlight. As it ripens, the rind may soften slightly and a sweet fragrance will develop near the blossom end (bottom of the melon). Gently press the bottom — when it yields slightly, it is ready to enjoy.

For the best experience, refrigerate for 2–4 hours before serving and enjoy chilled.

日本靜岡皇冠蜜瓜,是日本皇牌亦被視為最頂級的靜岡蜜瓜,靜岡蜜瓜出產自靜岡縣,是在溫室悉心培植的蜜瓜。為保證靜岡蜜瓜質量,靜岡皇冠蜜瓜主要是以一樹一瓜培植,即是農夫一棵樹只會保留一個瓜,將其他多餘的瓜切走,令所有養分及水分集中在一個蜜瓜上,故味道較一般市面上的蜜瓜香甜多汁。靜岡蜜瓜瓜紋特別細密,在頂部還有一個T字形瓜蒂。日本靜岡蜜瓜曾於皇冠蜜瓜比賽中獲得好評,無論在形狀、甜度、香味及顏色方面,都比其他蜜瓜勝一籌。

山等級 僅低富士一級,外觀及肉身均屬優質蜜瓜,多出於專業級果農之手。

白等級 外觀及肉身屬標準蜜瓜,在所有出產中約佔六成,售價較相宜。

雪等級 外觀及肉身稍稍有瑕疵,主要用於蜜瓜加工產品中。
