The white shrimp caught during summer are the "white jewel" of Toyama Bay! The white shrimp that makes the deep sea of Toyama Bay its home is a rare species, and Toyama is the only place in the world it is caught! White shrimp is characterized by its refined sweetness and can be eaten as sashimi or as part of a rice bowl.  It can also be deep fried or make tempura!
